I Can’t Wait to Fly

I can’t wait to fly,

But of course I’ll have to die.

I’ll fly higher than the eagle himself

For I’ll be an angel with beautiful wings on my back.

I’ll help God with his hard work

For I would help a child with a lesson he or she must learn.

After I’m finished with that child I’ll help another,

I might be a guardian angel.

Oh, I can’t wait to fly.
